The bay route signposts

The Bidasoa-Txingudi Bay Patrimonial Revaluation Project aims to enhance all aspects which unite us with the three towns, whilst recognising the surroundings as a natural and unique area of world renown. This involves raising awareness of our history, relations, patrimony and the culture which unites us in order to create a communal identity and achieve a more global vision of our bay.

The bay route covers a total of 14 km from Chateau D'Abbadie in Hendaya to the Higer Lighthouse in Hondarribia, weaving its way alongside the beach, the bay and the river, crossing Roman Irun, the wetlands and the medieval old town of Hondarribia, and arriving to the port and the beach once again.
