How to arrive
Irun lies in a privileged location, as it is one of the main communication points between the Iberian peninsulae and the rest of Europe. Therefore Irun is easily reachable.
By road, by car, by feet, by bike.
Martindozenea Youth Hostel is on the N-1 national road, which connects the city center and the neighborhood of Ventas, this road also goes to Saint Sebastian. This one is also part of the "Camino de Santiago" (Path of Santiago) which goes through the coast.
This building is on the edge of the urban center of Irun, very close to La Salle Polytechnical College.
Saint Sebastian’s airport is in Hondarribia, 3km away from the hostel, and it can be reached by flights from Madrid and Barcelona.

Access to Irun:

Bús from the airport, and from Hendaye by train (topo).
Three daily trains from Madrid, Barcelona and A Coruña arrive every day to Irun train station. On top of that, regional trains operate to the rest of Guipúzcoa every 30 minutes. Information is available on Spanish Railway's home page www.renfe.es. From the train station to the youth hostel there are nearly 20 minutes by feet.
An alternative to this, is the narrow track train also locally known as “Topo”, which has three stations in Irun, the closest one to the hostel is Belaskoenea which is 4 minutes away. More information is available on www.euskotren.es.
